Karen McNeill
Karen McNeill has been curious about real estate since she was a young girl and her parents entertained her with family
trips to tour historic homes, Frank Lloyd Wright designs, or any open house they passed on Sunday afternoons after church. While attending Purdue University, she enrolled in a modern architecture course, which expanded her interest beyond just the physical structures and encompassed the engineering involved, modern technologies utilized, and the effect of cultural trends on homes. This further sparked her interest.
After college, Karen worked in various industries including restaurant, hospitality, medical recruiting, and industrial sales. Her natural ability to communicate concepts and her commitment to growth led to her enthusiastic involvement with training & development. During this time, Karen continued to explore every element of the real estate business. She sought out experts and soaked up everything she could: learning how to analyze opportunities, build a supportive network, understand shifts in the market, leverage her time, and more, all while raising her young family and dreaming of someday putting all of the pieces together successfully. Today, that dream is a reality as Karen owns several rental properties and has flipped many homes in the St. Louis Area with her team.
In addition to being a successful agent with MORE, Realtors, and a member of the MORE, Realtors Advisory Board, she is responsible for new agent coaching. In this role, Karen gets to share her knowledge and passion for the industry with the next generation of agents. Karen is also an active member of The National Association of Realtors, The St Louis Association of Realtors Community Engagement Committee, and has partnered with Rebuilding Together to provide critical renovation services to homeowners, improving the safety and health of communities.
She is AHWD certified, an optional addition she chose to pursue to increase her knowledge of multicultural markets and build expertise that transcends cultural barriers.
In her personal life, Karen has three adult children, two very shy rescue cats, and an Australian Shepherd as a grandson. It is not uncommon to hear her laughing, as humor is an integral part of who she is. An actress as well, you may on occasion see her face in advertisements or films or even catch her in a live improvisational performance. She is passionate about always learning new things, taking care of her health from head to toe, and doing things the right way, right away.
