Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® is a credential that is awarded by The Society of Certified Senior Advisors to professionals upon meeting the requirements for certification.
Any professional that wishes to receive the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® designation must pass the Roles, Rules, and Responsibilities Ethics (RRR) course before they may be certified. In addition, in order to maintain the CSA certification, professionals are required to demonstrate a commitment to high standards and take required continuing education courses.
REALTORS® that have received the CSA certification have, as a result of the certification process they have completed, a high level of competence and knowledge of working with older adults thereby equipping them to serve this community better. In addition, as part of the CSA® process, the REALTOR® will have developed a network of like-minded professionals across the country, all of whom are committed to serving seniors, that can be called upon for assistance and help when necessary.
This is the easy part because while, as of January 1, 2023, there were 43 professionals appearing on the CSA website as Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®in Missouri, only five of them appear to be licensed real estate agents or brokers with just 4 of them being active REALTORS®. Within the St Louis area, there are two active REALTORS®, including the very first REALTOR® in Missouri to earn the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® designation, Ted Gottlieb with MORE, REALTORS® and the most recent addition is a member of Ted's team, Team Ted, making him the only REALTOR® team in Missouri with more than 1 CSA!
