Downtown St Louis Loft District Lofts For Sale
Lofts in downtown St Louis are primarily located within the St Louis Downtown Loft District which is, more or less, from Delmar to the North, to 9th street to the east, Locust to the south then west to 18th street. This encompasses the popular Washington Avenue entertainment district. Much of this was formerly the garment district for St Louis but beginning in the 1980s transformed into the loft district it is today.
The buildings in this area date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s and are "mid-rise" meaning they generally have 6 to 8 floors.
